Half day rafting

We also call this trip THE CLASSIC! Whether you have been rafting before or it is your first time, this river experience will put loads of smiles on your face! We will raft through some breathtaking scenery you can only experience from a raft, and fun rapids are changed up with flat sections just long enough to relax and talk on, or go for a fun swim in the river current.

Description

This is by far our most popular rafting trip – and for good reason. The tour is perfect both for first-time rafters and for guests who already have rafting experience. The trip can be customized to a large extent based on guests’ wishes, as long as water levels allow.

The Austervefsna River is an ideal river for rafting, offering big, fun, and safe rapids. The river flows through spectacular, inaccessible gorges that can only be experienced from a raft, combining stunning natural scenery with a healthy dose of adrenaline. Our half-day trip runs on different sections of the river depending on water levels, and each section has its own unique character.

During periods of very high water in Austervefsna – typically in May and June – the trip is moved to Svenningelva. With higher water levels, this river also becomes an excellent rafting river and offers an equally exciting experience.

We have a fun camping area right by the river, with warm showers and toilets. There is plenty of space, and on warm days it’s perfect to stroll down to the river for a refreshing swim. We also have several fire pits and grill areas, ideal for relaxing and socializing after the trip.

Photos

We will put on a photographer for the trip if there are enough participants, and you can buy different packages afterwards, either the 5 best photos, 15 best photos or the full album.
